Ready to Adopt a Puppy?
Puppies are all sold at $2,000 regardless of gender or color.
All puppies are sold with Limited AKC Registration.
If you are ready to start the adoption process, please read each step thoroughly.

STEP ONE:
Submit a Puppy Application
In order to be considered for adoption, you must submit an application. Adoption applications open once a litter has been born and the puppies have reached 2 weeks of age.
When completing the application, be sure to fill in every field with all information requested. Any incomplete applications will be disregarded.

All puppy picks are done in the order in which applications and deposits are received. No exceptions.

* Disclaimer *
You may request to visit the puppies before submitting an application, but this will prolong your ability to be placed in the pick order. If you are interested in a specific puppy, that puppy could be reserved before, during, or after your visit. Until an application and deposit are received, no guarantees can be made.

STEP TWO:
Reserve Your Puppy
If your application is approved for adoption, you will be given the opportunity to reserve a puppy. In order to reserve a puppy, a $500 deposit is required. This deposit is nonrefundable and non-transferable, and is deducted from the total cost of a puppy.

Acceptable Payment Methods:
- Venmo
- Zelle
- Credit or Debit Card + 3% admin fee

I do not accept checks or cash as payment. Receipts are only provided for credit/debit card payments.

Note: All payments include the 5% Wisconsin sales tax.

* Disclaimer *
League of Shepherds reserves the right to pick first from any and all litters produced.

STEP THREE:
Pick your Puppy
Once your puppy has been reserved, you will be added to the list of buyers in the order that your deposit was received. Puppies are ready to be picked when they are 6 weeks of age, after their health exam at the vet's office.

At this time, I will give my opinion on which puppy I believe would be the best fit for you, but ultimately it will be your decision. Once a puppy is picked, you cannot change your pick to a different one.

Please note that each buyer will have 24 hours to pick their puppy after receiving the "Puppy Picks are Here!" email from us. If a puppy has not been picked, I will match them with a puppy that I feel is suitable to their family. This allows the pick order to move along smoothly for everyone.

All picks are based on the order of deposits. We do not accept a higher deposit in order to jump to the front of the line. Puppy pick is done in the order that deposits are received, so if you are last in the pick order, you might not receive your "Puppy Picks are Here!" email for several days after their 6 week milestone.

STEP FOUR:
Sign the Adoption Contract
Once your puppy has been reserved, I will send an adoption contract via email to be signed electronically. This contract will already have my signature on it, and will not be considered valid until it has been signed and returned by the buyer. Included in this contract is a 2 year health guarantee that covers genetic diseases, as well as a spay/neuter clause. Please read it carefully before signing!

This contract will also have a clause included that states that the buyer may back out of the purchase of a puppy at any time, with the understanding that all payments made are nonrefundable. An email is required if a buyer would like to back out of the purchase, and their name is removed from the list of approved applicants.

STEP FIVE:
Prepare for your Puppy
You've picked your puppy and signed the contract. Now it's time to prepare for the homecoming!
Be sure to plan around the pick-up date of your puppy based on when they turn 8 weeks of age. This may fall in the middle of the week. We do not offer shipping and only deliver up to 30 miles from Hayward. We will deliver your puppy to you at a cost of $0.50 per mile, roundtrip, for any distance greater than 30 miles. If other arrangements need to be made, you will need to make them yourself.

Each puppy will be sent home with a puppy pack that includes:

- 3 cups of Purina Pro Plan 30/20 food.
